Pair of Elegant Early 20th Century Carved Wood Swedish Art Nouveau Armoires
About the Item
A tall pair of Swedish Art Nouveau wardrobe cabinets with beautifully carved fronts from the early 20th century. This pair of antique armoires from Sweden each feature a pair of exquisitely carved two paneled doors, framed within vertically fluted side and central posts, with double drawers at bottom (one beneath each door). The tops have nicely molded cornices, recess panels flank each side, and these cabinets are presented upon bracket-style feet. The cabinets vary on their interiors; one having adjustable shelving, while the other remains open with rod and two hooks at top. This stylish pair of Art Nouveau Swedish armoires are a great problem solver, offering plentiful hidden storage within, without sacrificing design.
