Pair of Sheraton Revival Small Locking Cabinets
About the Item
Pair of interesting and lovely single door walnut cabinets with satinwood decorative inlay, probably Edwardian made in the Sheraton taste.
Each has a single pull-out open drawer shelf.
Possibly bedside lockers or for tobacco.
Last image shows faint trace of a circular impression on corresponding lower backside suggesting these two may have been joined by a piece of hardware at some point; possible brass tube railing like one would see on a Sheraton buffet/server.
Working locks.
Could easily be mounted on a wall as well for petite floating bedside cabinets.
If anyone knows what these really are I would appreciate hearing from you.
