    A Fine Pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Mahogany Petites Commodes Incorporating Exceptional Eighteenth Century Chinese Lacquer Panels. Stamped on the lock ‘Duvivier, Paris, 77 F St Antoine’. Each commode has a a shaped white marble top above a frieze with two short and one long drawer. Below is a cupboard door with a gilt-bronze framed lacquer panel flanked by two open shelves with gilt-bronze galleries. The commodes are raised on square section tapering legs with gilt-bronze caps.
