Palisander Art Deco Cabinet with Exotic Inlay, Jules Leleu

About the Item

An exceptional French Moderne credenza in palisander and walnut veneer with inlaid parquetry and marquetry features in exotic woods. Elegantly dotted patterns on parquetry doors combined with floral and animal marquetry details on intersecting columns make this handsome cabinet a feat of skilled cabinetry. Original brass sabots, escutcheons and accents. Attributed to Jules Leleu 1883-1961 geometric furniture, cupboards, sideboards, commodes. 19 1/2" -20 7/8" max deep.
