About the Item
PHAB – Minimalist Cabinet with Rhythmic Fronts and Architectural Lightness
The PHAB Sideboard is a refined expression of minimalism, functionality, and structural clarity. Rooted in a deep respect for material and proportion, this piece is designed to adapt seamlessly to both modern living spaces and timeless interiors.
At its core, PHAB is a practical storage solution. The full-depth walnut case allows for generous interior capacity, with adjustable shelves that accommodate everything from books and tableware to vinyl records and everyday essentials. It is also available in an RTV/media version, featuring a dedicated audio compartment and additional center leg for stability.
The visual identity of PHAB is defined by its front panels, adorned with vertical american walnut slats that create a subtle, rhythmic texture—a detail that honors both craftsmanship and sustainable practice. These slats are crafted from carefully selected offcuts reclaimed from table production, reducing waste while adding tactile richness to the piece.
While the cabinet’s form is strong and compact, its silhouette remains visually light. This is achieved through a clever structural gesture: the solid body is held between two lateral “brackets,” which slightly lift the volume from the ground, giving the impression of architectural suspension. This design solution tempers the mass of the sideboard and adds a sculptural presence.
The name PHAB reflects the core ideas behind the piece:
P for Perspective, H for Horizon, A for Accent, and B for Block — a quiet narrative embedded in wood and form.
This listing features the 3-door PHAB Sideboard (222 × 50 × 77 cm) in american walnut, configured with a media opening and center support leg, as shown in the photographs.
Other configurations, sizes, and finishes are available upon request.
