About the Item

A rare form mahogany one drawer four shelf étagère with hinged top shelf for displaying books, prints or photographs, reverse acorn finials, nicely turned shelf supports, punched brass pulls, and turned legs. Probably New York in origin, dating to the 19th century, in very good condition, with some shrinkage cracks, minimal imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 49.75 in H (53.5 in H with top shelf up) x 18.5 in W x 17.13 in D.
