About the Item

Set of three petite mahogany chests/oversized nightstands (two cabinets and one chest of drawers) which can be displayed together for sideboard or credenza use with highly stylized anodized aluminum pulls and sabots by Longato Arredamenti of Padova (circa 1960s, Italy). Jonathan de Pas, Donato D'Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi were among the most notable designers for Longato Arredamenti, which began manufacturing Italian furniture in 1965. The two cabinets are each composed of two doors, which open to reveal open storage flanked by an adjustable / removable shelf. The single chest is identical in size with corresponding pulls in a horizontal orientation but with a four-drawer construction. Conservatively refinished condition, though wear remains (light scuffs, mostly to the edging, and light wear to the aluminum, as shown). This listing is for all three pieces - two cabinets and one chest of drawers. Each measures: H: 29" x L: 31.38" x D: 17.25" Depth with doors open: 32" Depth with drawers open: 30.13" Interior drawer dimensions: H: 4.5" x L: 28.5" x D: 14.25" Interior cabinet dimensions: H: (discounting shelf): 21.75" x L: 29.5" x D: 15.25" (shelf is 0.75" thick).
