Solid Oak Icebox Made By Biltwell For Abraham & Strauss
About the Item
A very well made early 20th Century solid Oak ice box manufactured by Biltwell and sold exclusively through Abraham & Strauss, Brooklyn, New York. With beautifully finished wood and handsome graining and paneled sides, the ice box has three doors opening to reveal 3 grid shelves on the left and two cold storage areas on the right. Heavy duty brass door latches, handles and locking mechanisms.
Dimensions: 33.75” wide by 17.25” deep by 40.75” high.
Condition: please see detail photos. There is some light scratching to the top surface, nicks and rusting to the castors mentioned for accuracy as the presentation remains striking and authentic.
