The classical side is made with blocks of solid wood, vertically placed, and carved by hand. The modern side is made of veneered wood. Then, the sideboard is completely sandblasted. The classical side is equipped with 3 drawers with wooden runners. Dining table: White dining table made combining old and modern woodcraft. The classical side is made of blocks of solid wood carved by hand while the modern one is made of veneered multi layer wood. Top in veneered panels with edge in solid wood. Then, the table is completely sandblasted. Designed by Feruccio Laviani About the designer: Ferruccio Laviani, born in 1960, graduated in architecture at the polytechnic institute in Milan. By 1986 he was working with various companies such as Cassina, Molteni, Kartell (designer of the famous Bourgie lamp) and many more; helping him to gain the popularity as one of the most prestigious European designers. One of his many duties was to run the exhibit Technique Discretes: le design du mobilier italien 1980-1990 at the Louvre in Paris. Made in Italy: Made in Italy furniture means design, quality, style and sophistication. The typical elegance of Italian design can be found in this piece. No wonder that the world famous designers like Philippe Starck, Karim Rashid, Piero Lissoni, Rodolfo Dordoni and many others put their signature next to Made in Italy.
