About the Item

Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this super rare, highly collectable Victorian Fruitwood, fully restored Gun collectors cabinet with steel roller ammunition drawers Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price A very charming and highly collectable piece, I have never in all my working career seen another of this type, it is made out of Fruitwood and oak, the main body is recessed for rifles and the drawers are super strong and on steel rollers, these are ammunition drawers hence the industrial strength stability The piece has been fully restored by traditionally trained French polisher that has been in the field for over 30 years, his work is sublime. The cabinet has a wonderful glow and patina to it, there will naturally be age and use related marks but nothing you would expect from a Victorian example Dimensions Height:- 227cm top to bottom, 154cm top only, 73cm base Width:- 136cm top, 122.5cm base Depth:- 52.5cm top, 48.5cm base Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
