Theodore Alexander Althorp Console Flourish Cabinet / Console Table
The Flourish dining room side cabinet is a Louis XVI style flame mahogany ormolu mounted and banded cabinet with a rectangular brass bound top with canted corners above a long drawer with Rococo escutcheons and handles above two crossbanded and ebony strung doors with finely case mounts to the centre on trailing floriate mounted and canted supports.
Althorp Living History Furniture is a prestigious collection by Theodore Alexander. Althorp has been home to the Spencer Family for nearly 500 years, and contains a fascinating variety of pictures, furniture and ceramics.
