About the Item

The Vandalism Cabinet is the first offering from our new Vandalism Collection - a collection that we’re excited about, and one that will continue to grow over the next few months. The Vandalism Collection is meant to explore the relationship between high end furniture and street art - a blending of two worlds which don’t often collide. It’s meant to spark conversation - to represent collaboration amidst differences - ultimately working toward a shared goal of positivity and mutual support. As such, we’re proud to partner with talented local artist Duvall Winns. He’s most known for his signature “Yellow Man” series, but has developed an artistic style that incorporates an explores many different methods and materials. “Graffiti has graced the streets of major cities since the 1970’s, and it writes the history of the places we’ve grown to love and frequent” Winns says. “My hope is to bring this modern take on calligraphy and expression to elevated heights through art and interior design.” Each piece in the collection, like all pieces in our Black Label series, will be 1-of-1 and will be signed both by Duvall and the craftsman in our studio who built the piece. This first cabinet (shown) is made from solid Maple with our Frosted Maple finish, but with each cabinet being commissioned, the cabinet finish and color scheme can be discussed prior to order. Our standard dimensions and species/finishes are listed. Custom sizes available upon request.
