Vintage Danish Modern Oak Cabinet attributed to Kjærnulf, 1960s

About the Item

A Danish Mid-century Modern cabinet or compact sideboard made from Nordic oak. Manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s and often attributed to the renowned Danish designer Henning/Henry Kjærnulf. Kjærnulf is globally recognized for his unique fusion of Scandinavian Modern aesthetics with elements reminiscent of medieval, baroque, and even Viking styles. This design is occasionally referred to as "Danish Brutalist." The cabinet stands on thick solid oak legs, with an elegantly carved low profile connecting them. Displaying a gentle patina that is consistent with its age and use. Inside height of drawers are 10cm (3.94") It has been the lower part of a shelfsystem, so there remains signs of that, see pictures of filled out holes in each sides.
