- Guillerme & Chambron Cabinet 'Thierry' in OakBy Guillerme et Chambron, Votre MaisonLocated in Waalwijk, NLGuillerme & Chambron, cabinet, model 'Thierry', oak, France, 1960s. This mischievous sideboard mirrors the European Gothic Revival period of the nineteenth century by means of the heavy black stained wood. The design seamlessly blends with any interior bringing the old antiquated ambience into your home. The whole construction is solidly built showing the typical characteristics of the designer duo Guillerme et Chambron, par example the graphic pattern of carved lines on the sliding door panels, add a wonderful rhythmic and haptic surface to the front. The whole corpus rests on a stable base arranged in two columns, which results in a sculptural appearance. Functionality comes into play through the availability of great amount of storage space.
