18th c. French Regency style Commode / chest with ornate bronze dore mounts

About the Item

This French 18th century commode is in the regence style. Bronze Handles in a brilliant hue and Fine and quality construction throughout this piece make it exceptional. The construction and fine aged patina show its quality. It is made of the finest grade of walnut and has fine marquetry inlay. The marble top is in great condition in a rouge hue.. It has six drawers that slide easily. This cabinet has the original Patina with a soft glossy finish. Fine bronze dore mounts curve gracefully and have Been finely cast. The bronze mounts curve Down each side of the front and end with bronze dore sabots on the front feet, each side curves out gently in a bombe style. Matched veneers are beautifully constructed throughout this piece.
