About the Item

Twisted and shaken desk, 18th century, in rosewood. With spiral-turned columns that frame the side drawers, giving the whole an imposing feel and movement. The carved frames that run along the edges and fronts of the drawers reinforce the meticulous craftsmanship typical of furniture made for noble or prestigious environments. The gold decorative hardware applied to the drawer fronts adds a noble touch and contrasts elegantly with the dark, reddish tone of the wood The top is straight and wide, ideal for writing or working, while the base rests on small flat ball feet that support the entire structure with balance. Comprising a total of nine drawers, three in each side column and three in the top, the desk offers functionality combined with aesthetics. It is a piece that combines robustness, elegance and historical value, ideal for classic environments, collections or prominent spaces.
