About the Item
A magnificent Baroque commode with serpentine front in burled walnut with embossed gilding. Chest is raised on a carved plinth that rests on cabriole feet, and features four drawers with original fire-gilded pulls and key plates, and one working key, Denmark, circa 1770.
Measures: 49" wide x 26 1/2" deep x 54" high.
