18th Century English Tall Chest

About the Item

Fabulous and RARE! 18th century oak tall chest of drawers with wonderful oyster walnut veneer on the drawer fronts. The top of the case has a gorgeous crown, following down to sides which have been paneled in book matched oak veneer with the most beautiful motion and color. The sides are banded in oak, for a lovely contrasting detail. The piece is entirely banded in oak, and the drawer fronts have been veneered with oyster walnut, for a show-stopping visual in any room. The case is raised on wonderful bracket feet. We have had the pleasure of offering oyster walnut pieces before, but none as large or fine as this one.
