18th Century Louis XVI / Baroque Marquetry Walnut Chest of Drawers

About the Item

An 18th century Louis XVI marquetry commode with three drawers from West Germany. Thick walnut veneer sawn with frame in walnut on a spruce wood corpus. All keys, fittings are made of brass, the locks are from the time. It is a beautiful piece of high craftsmanship. The back wall is scrubbed, as was customary in baroque times in the 18th century. In very good restored condition.
