19th Century English Jacobean Style Walnut and Oak Two Part Chest of Drawers
About the Item
A handsome 19th century English Jacobean style chest of drawers. Finely carved cabinet drawers with brass handles with small gargoyle faces that open up three cabinets. Raised on cannonball feet. Divides up into two parts. Center and cabinet doors are made of walnut. Oak is used for the top. Body is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery. Created circa 1860 in England.
In good condition. Gentle wear consistent with age and use. Some minor wear present on the sides.
No obvious markings present on the piece or on the bottom.
This chest of drawers would make a great feature in any home.
