19th century Scandinavian tiger birch chest of drawers

About the Item

19th century Scandinavian tiger birch chest of drawers circa 1870. 19th century swedish chest of drawers from the empire revival period.  Rectangular elegant shape, fitted with 3 graduating drawers which open on the key, which is typical for scandinavian chests of this period. Beautifully veneered in a golden tiger birch which gives it's striking pattern.  Recently fully restored in our workshop and polished by hand. Evidence of dead/inactive treated worm to backboards, minor restorations to woodwork.  Slight natural warpage to carcass, but doesn't effect drawer running or locks.
