19th century solid teak Anglo-Indian campaign chest of drawers

About the Item

This is a particularly nice set of 19th century Anglo-Indian campaign drawers. This set is made from solid teak which has taken on a beautiful patina over the years and has the nicest handle design I have seen on this style of drawers. The handles also sit flush in the body of the drawers making for a very tidy design. The chest as per its nature splits in two as originally this would have been moved from location to location on the back of a mule or other animal. This set is made up of entirely drawers making it very practical and offering plenty of storage. Height 103cm Width 105cm Depth 55cm
