About the Item

This lovely Gustavian style pine chest of drawers has the simple yet elegant lines that reveal its Swedish country style. This hard to find size is large at just under 4' wide. The canted fluted side details and gently tapered feet were traditional style elements of the era. Restored, later professionally applied painted finish in layered gray and antique white tones. It has been gently distressed to fit the age and grace of this attractive dresser. See close up photos of top to understand the layered, distressed finish. Three long drawers function with two brass pulls on each drawer. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large Swedish chest of drawers.
