20th Century Dutch Bleached Oak Chest of Drawers

About the Item

Chest of drawers made in the Netherlands in the early 1900s using oak. The dresser has been bleached and now has a beautiful ivory color. The little commode features three inset drawer with serpentine fronts, following the serpentine shape of the case and the top. The top has protruding rounded corners and the front corners of the case are cantered and bombay towards the bottom. The chest sits on the original reverse scroll feet. Overall this is a very cute chest of drawers that is highly decorative despite its small size. The drawers work very well and its height make it a perfect piece as a bedside table / nightstand. The light color and striation of the oak in my opinion make it perfect for a country home or beach house.
