An exceptional Chinoiserie chest of drawers by Alfonso Marina. A serpentine form made of mahogany, walnut and exotic matchbook burled panels with cossbanding. The front of the chest showcases three drawers centered by oriental scenes with wise men, scholars, birds, lions and trees. Ornate escutcheon plates are at the center of each drawer flanked by knocker pulls along the outside. The commode is supported by bun feet. Includes a key.
