Antique Gustavian Style Chest, Swedish Genuine Country Black Pine with Drawers
About the Item
Antique chest in gustavian style from Sweden. The chest is a genuine country furniture from around 1820 and has the classic straight shape of the period. Three functional drawers where the top one has three smaller interior drawers. There is a signature from the maker on one of the drawers, see picture. The chest has the original locks but unfortunately the key is missing. Frame in solid pine, healthy and stable. Good vintage condition with traces and marks of use. Made by hand.
