Antique Large Blue Pained Rococo Chest of Drawers from Denmark
About the Item
It is the striking blue painted finish that draws one to this handsome large oak chest of drawers. Later professionally painted in blue and teal shades, the finish has been lightly scraped and sanded exposing the natural wood beneath and beautifully highlighting the details in the casework including decorative carving along the skirt. Each drawer functions with two pulls to each drawers, drawer bottoms are made of pine. This large dresser is strong/stable and ready for use; any scratches, dings, marks are commensurate with age.
