About the Item
An American Bombé style painted wood chest. This American Bombé chest from the late 20th century is ornately decorated with a shell carving on the skirt and cartouche outline around the drawers and chest sides. This Bombay style chest features two small drawers over two larger drawers. This robust four-drawer chest has a nice curvy Silhouette which is raised upon four cabriole legs. The drawers are each adorned with Rococo style hardware. The skirt is scalloped on all three sides. This chest is primarily blue and green with a neutral beige accent trim.
