About the Item

This beautiful three-drawer commode dates to the 18th century (likely French) and has a subtle serpentine front façade. Each of the drawers and the sides are adorned with painted arabesque and linear designs. The front and sides are further enhanced by shaped aprons supported by bracket feet. Our serpentine French commode would make a wonderful addition to any bedroom or as an eye-catching drop zone below a mirror in an entryway.
