  • Richard Watson Highboy in Bleached Ash
    By Richard Watson
    Located in Brookline, MA
A modern perspective on the classic 18th c. Highboy, Richard Watson's Highboy stands tall and delicate with handcrafted dovetail drawers and slides. The solid bronze pulls, which were originally designed for this piece, are cast locally and hand finished in the Richard Watson studio. The drawer fronts are thoughtfully selected for their distinct grain patterns and arranged to create a quilt-like composition. Each piece is made in Pawtucket, RI by a team of men and women who are passionate about their craft. The pieces are constructed using select domestic hardwoods and traditional joinery and hand finished with natural oils, lacquers and wax. Available in walnut, white oak, and bleached ash.
