Bleached and Painted Directoire Style Commode
About the Item
A simple and handsome commode or chest of drawers in the Directoire style, bleached and newly painted very stylishly with notes of gray, blue and russet. The original drop handles have been polished for a glamourous pop of lightness, and the beadwork around the top adds a note of femininity. The drawers slide in and out very well, and are clean inside. There is some light wear on the castors but the piece still rolls well.
