Description Bois de rose panelled dresser, chiseled and gilt bronze applications, Christophe Wolff mark, Paris, mid-18th century. Louis XV dresser with wavy front and sides, fitted with raised fluted uprights, opens with two large drawers without intermediate cross-pieces, with concealed supports. Decorated with "butterfly wing" slabs in bois de rose and bordered by maple fillets. Elegant chiseled and gilded bronze decoration completes the cabinet: handles, vents, sabots, and decorations on the apron and uprights. The upper floor is surmounted by a marble slab. The C. Wolff is stamped on the right rear pillar. Dimensions 104cm x 53.5cm h:91cm Provenance Private Collection ■Condition Defects and Restorations.
