About the Item
Chest of drawers from France in the Directoire style. This petite chest of drawers is made of mahogany that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. This piece has three dovetailed drawers, and gilt brass pulls on each. The clean lines lend itself perfectly to many functions. It is supported by tapered legs. The chest is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
