Don Ruseau French Commode
About the Item
A fine quality, vintage Don Ruseau commode with wonderful French provincial influence, featuring a warm-toned medium-light brown finish over a serpentine-front top with a pull-out extension over two dovetail drawers. The bottom drawer is flanked by saber legs lending a bombe-style form to the lower half. A serpentine apron meets at the center with a carved and fanned floral flourish. The drawers are lined in blue and white striped paper.
Dimensions: 47" W, 20" D and 28 1/2" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include light scratches to surface especially to the right. Lacking key. Slight fading to pull out, all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is classic French inspired Don Ruseau.
