Resolute and enigmatic like its real-life counterparts, Maturin conceals sliding storage and secret drawers for correspondence and pending files. After hours, Maturin closes akin to antique secretaries with a meticulously crafted mobile screen that conceals its functional space. This graceful piece of furniture reveals subtle patterns of backlit light, crossing its surface.
Sometimes servile, sometimes fierce, this tribe of unconventional furniture tames animal forms to imbue them with distinctly human functionality.
