Early 19th Century Dutch Oak Tall Chest of Drawers

About the Item

An Interesting Early 19th Century Dutch Oak Tall Chest of Drawers. In the form of a French semainier but with six rather than the usual seven drawers, it is inspired by French Empire furniture with its columnar pilasters to the sides with their ormolu capitals. The drop handles are unusual and give the piece a contemporary look. The drawers are finely graduated and the whole piece is executed in fine oak timber of original fabulous, golden colour and stands on square sectioned legs. Perfect as an elegant storage solution.
