An incredible restored pair of commodes, circa 1950. Expertly crafted mahogany case construction veneered in cane with beautiful tortoiseshell bamboo drawer accents and stylish saber legs. The case sides are highlighted with a fabulous "Rising Sun" motif. Incredible material selection and craftsmanship - aged to absolute perfection. Exquisite pieces designed to anchor an important space. The unmistakable look of serious old money. Excellent restored condition. The chests have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The cane and bamboo project a rich warmth, and range of color. Lacquer finish with exceptional depth and sheen. The chest top measures 38 inches wide X 18 inches deep.
