About the Item
Found in France, this circa 1910 empire style demi lune commode is made of mahogany with a marble top. Commode has two locking drawers flanked by wedge-shaped, locking side cabinets. Four reeded and tapered legs, decorative carved details, brass hardware and decorative mounts. Drawers have dovetail construction and functional locks. Marble top is a warm, cream tone with beveled edge and veins of gray, apricot and white. One skeleton key.
One side cabinet is missing internal shelf.
Very good antique condition with scattered minor surface wear.
