Exceptional Georgian Bow Front Chest of Drawers

About the Item

An exceptional quality Georgian Bow Front chest of drawers. With bracket feet and absolutely awesome patina and with original key. This is a unique and rare find, the drawer configuration is hard to come by Three short over three long with inlay around the perimeter of each drawer. This piece has been nurtured and well cared for over the past couple hundred of years. It has been very gently used which is why the drawers slide smooth and the exterior is awesome. The hardware is in good shape with the exception of one handle that needs repair or replacement. At some point there has been an attempt to fix it with solder. We will be glad to refer a manufacturer that will supply a replacement handle if wanted. This is a beautiful strong and sturdy piece of furniture, and would show well in any room setting.
