A well-made and decorative piece, this is larger than usual and with a timber patina I've not seen before, usually there are less burls and it has a yellow hew, this is a proper brown. The unit can be used as a sideboard in a hallway for general storage or a bedroom for cloths, it is very utilitarian
The condition is good for the age, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, to my eyes and hands it looks lovely
