A stunning pair of Art Deco commodes in gorgeous ribbon mahogany; carved pulls finished in black lacquer. While no longer marked, this fabulous case series was designed by the esteemed Donald Deskey and produced by Modernage, circa 1940. Stellar design, construction and material selection. The wood displays beautiful color and movement. Important pieces intended to anchor an important space. The unmistakable look of Old Money. Excellent Restored Condition. The pieces have undergone a meticulous complete professional restoration. The finish displays fabulous depth and sheen. The price noted is for the pair.
