French Louis Philippe chest of drawers late 19th century. The wood is walnut bramble. Walnut brambles are flamed because they have many aesthetic designs. These drawings have complex, highly contrasting patterns and intricate veins on a naturally dark background of varying intensities. Thus the bramble of walnut wonderfully imitates a theater curtain. This chest of drawers is equipped with four drawers. The drawers are dovetailed ensuring perfect solidity. The drawers can be opened daily and hold many sometimes heavy objects. They slide perfectly. The interior of the drawers is made of solid oak. The back of the dresser has solid wood panels so very resistant. The discreet entrances do not protrude from the surface. They are brass. The dresser is perfectly stable. It rests on low legs that respect the shape of the furniture in the front and two straight feet in the back. The top of the dresser is a solid walnut.
