This antique chest from France retains its original marble top which sits atop a Neoclassical case that has been designed in clean/linear lines, and raised upon spaded legs at front and squared legs at rear. The four drawers have elaborate lion's head ring bail hardware, and are flanked at each end with set-back column side posts, with beautifully embellished tops.
