Georgian period Chemist Apothecary drawers - No2
About the Item
This is a rare surviving piece that we found in an old chemist in Nottingham, England. It dates to the early 19th century and is complete with its original labels. It also has a wonderful patina to the paint which adds to its decorative charm. This multi drawer set would make a great addition to a home for storing all of life's clutter while looking good doing it. The handles are mostly original brass pulls but there are some replacements and where lacking there are old rope pulls. I have chose to leave these as is as they add to the character of the piece but we can look to source brass pulls if you prefer. Free stands perfectly well. All timber drawers as well.
This is 1 of 2 sets we have and is a nice size with all drawers opening and closing well. The sizes makes this ideal for wall mounting of use on a table top.
