About the Item
Our handcrafted three drawer bedside chest of drawers or nightstand in beautiful English quarter-sawn oak. The main box is detailed with exposed hand-cut dovetail jointing and contains 3 spacious traditional dovetail jointed drawers. There is a shadow rebate between the box and its base. A light curve chamfer detail is cut into and around the legs and follows along the facia.
The back has traditional oak panelling fitted.
Designed and completely handmade by our highly experienced craftspeople in England. Hand finished in durable oil. These are constructed from the finest English quarter-sawn oak.
This is a contemporary design with slight Scandinavian influences utilising authentic and traditional English furniture craftsmanship and fine timbers.
These can be made to your custom dimensions/bespoke design if required. Also available in American black walnut or English ash.

Our regular use of English quarter-sawn oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we continue to create some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
