About the Item
Highboy with five drawers in alder, dark walnut stain, ivory drawer fronts and premium satin lacquer finish (12 coats). This piece is inspired by an Italian design from the 1930s (see last image). The push-to-open, push-to-close hardware is state of the art and eliminates the need for pulls or handles. This keeps the look clean and modern.
Because this piece is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop, we can reproduce this chest in any dimensions, choice of wood and finish. More detailed images are available.

Petersen Antiques
Established in 1989 and a 1stdibs dealer since 2005, Petersen Antiques is a beautiful mixture of antique and custom-made furniture, art, and tapestries. Today, their Los Angeles workshop has a large collection of antique furniture from all around the world and is the home of their made-to-order workshop where they have a specialist team hand-build custom furniture using only the highest quality material and traditional carpentry.
