About the Item
A George II period walnut chest on stand of very fine quality. Built of solid walnut and consisting of two short drawers over three long drawers. Each drawer is oak-lined and fitted with its original hardware. The low stand features cabriole legs carved with shells on the knees and ending in faceted pad feet. The shaped apron is also carved with a central shell. Retaining a lovely color and patina.
