About the Item

An Italian chest of drawers with faux marble top from the 19th century. This antique chest from Italy has a faux-marble painted top above a case which houses three full-sized drawers, raised-panel sides, a clean skirt, and is presented upon four spade carved legs. The drawers are each fitted with a pair of round pulls and a minimal escutcheon keyhole at their center. This wood has a custom scraped and bleached finish, which compliments the older hand-painted faux-marble top (which has muted colors in yellow, salmon, and brown). This 19th century Italian chest has versatile usage potential throughout the home and is approximately four feet in length.
