About the Item

An Italian Neoclassical style wooden side chest from the turn of the 19th century. This antique smaller-sized cabinet from Italy houses two drawers with a middle door sandwiched between them. The storage is all set in vertical fashion, flanked between a pair of black columns with brass accents at their upper and lower portions. The chest is clean in design and raised upon four squared legs which terminate into slightly wider squared feet. Neoclassical ring pull hardware adorn the drawers and door front. The fruitwood is warm and rich, having a nice old patina and lovely show of age.
