About the Item
Opulent commode, dresser, or chest of drawers featuring a handsome organic modern raffia grasscloth wrapped or clad case. Made in the fabulous style and manner of Karl Springer. Crafted from radiant grained mahogany the chest has six drawers fitted with dramatic patinated bronze round pulls. The center drawer on top has brass lock hardware and keys. The commode is finished on all sides and crafted with an amazing attention to detail. The front is bowed and the piece is supported with small bracket feet flanking gracefully curved aprons. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
